Our mission is one that places great importance on the concept of being “Leadership Based Education.”

CHS is an Elementary Leadership Development School. Every pupil has the power within themselves to be leaders of their own learning. Most just need a pointer to thrive. The physical and emotional environment of our community is boosted with quotes and images that reinforce pupils worth and potentials in a colorful, vibrant, welcoming and nurturing the environment, in turn, pupils feel inspired to excel.

Pupils are involved in myriad ways which helps their skills and confidence to grow by the practice of public speaking in our reading garden, social greetings, decision making while pupils are directed to their talents to making adequate decisions and their talents are eventually used to better the class and the school at large.

With the leadership infused curriculum approach from early years, it becomes a way of life that ingrains in their character early enough.

Our instructional methods engage pupils from 3 years to our elementary school which encourages them to think, express ideas, show initiative, collaborate with peers, and teach in play thus becoming an active agent in learning.

CHS Leader Based Education® is based on principles and practices of personal, interpersonal and organizational effectiveness, and upon the powerful premise that every child possesses unique strengths and has the ability to be a leader.

CHS Leader Based Education® program is exclusive to CHS,helping our pupils learn how to become self-reliant, take initiative, plan ahead, set and track goals, do their homework, prioritize their time, manage their emotions, be considerate of others, express their viewpoint persuasively, resolve conflicts, find creative solutions, value differences, and live a balanced life. The process helps CHS pupils to develop the skills and self-confidence they need to lead their lives and succeed in school and beyond.

CHS Leader Based Education® differs from other usual school programs as it offers a holistic, school-wide experience for the community as a whole starting from parents, pupils, employees and creates a common language and culture within the school. The leadership principles and lessons are not taught as a curriculum but instead are incorporated into all CHS coursework, traditions, systems, and culture.

We are aware you want nothing more than for your children to grow up into well-mannered individuals and give the proper respect to other people. Which is why character education is an important part in CHS community because success in life does not always rely on academics.
It is true that the main reason that you enroll your children into schools is to learn about academic subjects like math, history, science, and literacy but these are not the only things that children need to learn , if they ever want to become successful in the real world.

Character education gives them the necessary tools that they will be using more often than those that they learn from the other subjects.
Character education is a teaching method which fosters the development of responsible individuals by teaching them about the good values that people should have. It teaches the values of caring about other people, honesty, responsibility and other important traits that make for an upstanding individual.

The parents are not the only ones that need to be concerned in developing a child’s character, the school and community also have a role to play thus our unwavering focus on this aspect. These days, with most families, the children are often left alone with no one to guide them. This is why we have implemented a complete program to implementing character education so that our pupils know the correct path they should walk on.
